The 7th Annual Citizens for Quality Sickle Cell, Inc. Fundraising Dinner was held at Central Connecticut State University on June 5, 2009. The event started with a cocktail reception. The evening progressed with song selections from Women of the Cross, a female trio acapella Gospel group, followed by featured speaker and author Dominique Friend. The evening ended with  a presentation of  the 1st Annual CQSCC, Inc. Champion Award. The award went to Metro Realty Corporation for their unfailing support to the mission of CQSCC,Inc. and to families affected by sickle cell disease.

2nd Annual Fundraising Golf Outing benefits Sickle Cell Support Services

On Saturday October 4, 2008 Citizens for Quality Sickle Cell Care, Inc. held its 2nd Annual Fundraising Golf Outing at Goodwin Park Golf Course in Hartford, Connecticut. Participants of this event included family, friends and supporters from the universities, corporations, hospitals, and research facilities. Funds raised will provide ongoing support for educational and support services.
